An overwhelming number of updates!

I went from having next to nothing as far as a real website, for, oh, the past.. FOREVER, to suddenly going nuts with content and *gasp* organization!

I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but starting an actual business has a way of forcing you to get organized maybe? I dunno.. it could also be that I’m turning 30 soon and I want to kick that off on the right foot!

This website is now a network of no less than SIX domains.

METALHQ.COM (deprecated, but I still use it. maybe if the right offer came along I’d be willing to part with it)
SCOREMYPC.COM (a fun little tool that became unexpectedly popular when it was mainly for helping people in the unreal community… so I turned it into something that works for a wider audience)

and don’t worry, there’ll probably be even more soon.. wow kind of crazy.

Well let me know if you like the new site, if anything is confusing, etc… some old resources that I have created for people are now under the RESOURCES section.. for example the widescreen drivers & tutorials I made.. easy enough.. We might do some podcasts or instructional videos, those may go there too.

There will probably be some forums added for discussion of our projects, and of course more info on those and our company and its services in the coming days.

Would you be interested in a youtube documentary series following the beginning of our studio, fixing up the building, recording etc? Something else to mull over a bit…

Announcing The first taste of Enslavement of Beauty “The Perdition” EP! Now Finished!

It’s done!! So here is a tune for you to hear to whet your appetite… it is called “Lush” (in the flash player to the right on the main page), and there will also be a video for this particular track sometime this autumn right here on this website.. TPEP has been nearly a year in the making and we’re glad to have it out for the EoB fans.. we feel that this is the strongest stuff since 2001’s ”Megalomania” and hope that you agree! Let us know what you think.

In other news, today I move into the new VoxHouse Studio HQ and renovations will begin. I will be finishing up the Brute premiere during October after I have settled in. Interesting times ahead indeed!

Mistral Recording

So now that everything’s getting real organized (FINALLY!) with the studio and everything, I feel really good about taking things forward with Mistral again. There are still some things I have to organize in my head as far as music projects, but I am definitely looking to move forward with SOME kind of cd release.

I have a ton of GREAT songs and riffs I’ve been amassing for a while, and it’s just due to my situation these past few years that I have not been able to record much, especially in the vocal department. Since we should have our building for VoxHouse Studio hopefully by October 1st, I can begin to lay vocals as early as the beginning of Oct, in the meantime I will work more on the foundation of the tracks and writing some lyrics.

Anyway I am really excited to finish recording the new material, I think you will agree that it takes Mistral to a whole new level.

Please note that from now on, any heavy music projects I’m involved with will be organized into the ScaniMETAL section of this website, so you can find info and mp3’s on the projects there as I get time to put them up… Consider ScaniMETAL VoxHouse’s personal record label…
