60 minutes of melodic metal, FREE. This interactive album is a compilation of my first 10 years of material and has a load of influences! I challenge you not to find at least something you like in here…
You should ideally have annotations turned on, in order to use the track navigation feature and other embedded links.
I’d love your feedback.. any favorite tracks/parts? What do you think of this concept for packaging and presenting a music release? This is the first of its kind that I’ve seen, I call it a "valbum"
Anyway, this autumn I will be releasing a new album on CD so consider this a great way to get familiarized!
What happens when you mix two epic themes about captives of circumstance… "Over The Hills and Far Away" by Nightwish, meet "The Ballad of Gilligan’s Isle".

All music, recordings and performances in this video are property of their respective owners.. all I did was connect the two in my head and put em together. Thanks to whoever made the midi version of "Over The Hills.." which let me do this much faster.
First half is a reel of my instrumental & soundtrack work suitable for use in film, games, advertisements & more. I utilize both live and sampled instruments in my compositions, sometimes unusual, and try to write music that evokes feelings of a certain period, genre or atmosphere. My strength is in melodic progressions, ambient is doable but I feel the market is already oversaturated with composers who write primarily ambient soundtracks.
Second half is a retrospective of my work to date in the hard rock and metal music industries, including my projects Mistral & Ill Omen Nation plus production work I’ve done for some other internationally known bands, and a small sampling of what’s to come.
Most of the music you hear in this reel is or will be soon available for download in our shop for just 89 cents USD per track for your personal listening: http://voxhouse.net
